Secure communications à la carte
Electronic signatures help companies and public agencies to save time and money. As a general rule, the cost of a signature solution must always be reasonable in view of its concrete application. We will be pleased to assist you when it comes to deciding which personal certificate is right for you. What do you want to use your certificate for? Encrypting, web authentication or verified signatures? Perhaps you also wish to use a certain e-government application? We can help you to use certificate-based communications efficiently and economically. Because D-TRUST is currently the only German trust center to offer all certificate types defined by law and is hence able to adjust its portfolio to customer demands in a particularly flexible manner.
- An "advanced certificate" enables the secure and unambiguous identification of its owner. However, signatures generated using these certificates are not equivalent to hand-written signatures, so that less demanding security precautions must be considered. We can offer you advanced certificates as software solutions or on a smartcard. In this way, we can issue advanced certificates according to PKI-1 quality criteria which are important when dealing with public agencies and municipalities.
- The "qualified certificate" practically replaces your signature and fulfils the statutory written form required under section 126 of the German Civil Code. Pursuant to the Act on Digital Signature, qualified personal certificates may only be issued by official "certification authorities" which must fulfil strict security requirements in this capacity. The certificate is generally linked to a smartcard.
Apply here your for your qualified signature card! - A "qualified certificate with provider accreditation" features all the characteristics of a qualified certificate, with the additional characteristic that all processes and the technical infrastructure of the trust center were audited and endorsed by an inspection and confirmation authority being accredited by the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA). For additional information and for application for qualified certificates with provider accreditation please contact D-TRUST sales at vertrieb@d-trust.net.
