The complete web-based sign-me solution eliminates the need for additional hardware to sign documents – all you need is a laptop, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection.
Generate a legally binding qualified electronic signature at any time
The sign-me remote signature service is an efficient and secure way to issue digitally qualified signatures. Signature certificates can be retrieved from the portal at any time. This flexibility is especially beneficial for people who have to electronically sign legally binding documents such as contracts, expert opinions, translations or other documents that require the written form, either professionally or privately. The sign-me API connection solution is ideal for people and organisations that use digital signatures frequently in their day-to-day work.

Register easily in the sign-me portal
A one-off registration of the user is required before the first signature with sign-me. We recommend using the free AusweisIDent procedure with the eID on your ID card. Alternatively, VideoIdent is available for a fee.
Sign documents in a legally compliant manner in just four simple steps:
- Registration and identification
- Log-in and complete registration
- Upload documents and sign them with two-factor authentication
- Download signed documents
To log in to the remote signature portal on the device of your choice, e.g. a laptop, tablet or smartphone, enter your personal login details such as email address and password.
After completing registration and identification, you will be able to sign PDF-A documents digitally right away. These are then uploaded and made available for download after being signed.
As soon as the user has signed the document, it is automatically made available for download.
Prices
Payment in the portal is made via coins, a currency specific to the web portal, and is transaction-based. That means that costs are only incurred for each signature and not as a fixed monthly cost.
Registration and identification using the ID card function is free of charge and is rewarded with 10 coins once registration is complete. Identification using the VideoIdent procedure is subject to a fee of 50 coins. There is also a cost of 2 coins per advanced signature and a cost of 5 coins per qualified signature.
You can purchase more coins online. These are available for use immediately after purchase. This allows you to use sign-me at any time and adapt it flexibly to your own needs.
100 coins = 34.90 Euro including VAT.
500 coins = 139.90 Euro including VAT.

Before you can use the qualified or advanced signature in the sign-me portal for the first time, an identity check is required, which can be carried out in a number of ways. This can be done via AusweisIDent using the eID of the ID card or alternatively via the VideoIdent procedure.
Yes. When you create a qualified electronic signature using the sign-me remote signature service, it is legally binding in accordance with the eIDAS Regulation and is equivalent to your handwritten signature. The qualified electronic signature fulfils the written form requirement.
Coins can be purchased online at any time from our partner REINER SCT and used immediately after purchase. Please also enter your sign-me user name (e-mail address) at REINER SCT.
In the REINER SCT shop, select the desired coins package. Sign-me signature credits of 100 and 500 coins are available.
After you purchase the credits, the coins will be made available to you immediately in your sign-me account. You can use the coins in the sign-me portal to pay for identification and for the signatures provided.
No. After registration and identification, you only need your login details to generate a digital signature. Once you have logged in to the sign-me portal, you can digitally sign your documents.
